About

Mission:

Kingdom Calling seeks to connect people to Jesus and empower them to live a full life of Christ and to grow God’s Kingdom.

Why:

Kingdom Calling believes in helping others know Jesus. A person’s relationship with Jesus is the strength and foundation to live in this world fully in Christ. When a person knows their identity in Christ, they will join in growing God’s Kingdom.

How:

We believe Kingdom Calling will achieve the mission when we are led by Christ. As we continue to work on our spiritual formation and work as brothers and sisters in Christ to accomplish the mission, God will bless the ministry. “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps” (Proverbs 16:9).

What we Believe:

The Bible: We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were inspired by God and are the inerrant Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).

The Incarnation and Virgin birth of Jesus Christ:  We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-38).

The Deity of Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus is God and can offer forgiveness and everlasting life (Matt. 3:17, Matt. 26:63).

The Trinity: We believe in one God that exists eternally and simultaneously in three persons, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4, Matt. 3:16-17).

Salvation is only through Jesus Christ:  We believe Jesus Christ died in our place for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice for all who believe in Him. We believe we are purchased and declared justified because of His blood sacrifice.  All who receive, by faith, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and become children of God through eternity (John 3:16, Eph. 2:8-9).

The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ: We believe the body of Jesus Christ resurrected and the Lord Jesus ascended into heaven and represents believers today as our High Priest and Advocate (John 20:26-29, Acts 1:9-11).

The Second Coming of Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus could will return at any time (Acts 1:11, Rev. 22:20).

The Moral Depravation of Humanity: We believe humanity was created in the image of God but with sin separated us from God incurring physical and spiritual death. Because of this, we are born with a sinful nature in need of redemption through Jesus Christ who graciously forgives all who ask (John 3:16; Rom. 10:13, 3:23, 6:23).

God is the Sole Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and Humanity: We believe that God spoke existence into creation and humanity (Gen. 1-2).
